Q. How long can I keep the sauces in the refrigerator once opened?
A. Once opened the sauces have a shelf life of 48 hours kept in the refrigerator.
Q. Can the sauces be frozen?
A. We do not recommend freezing these sauces as managing shelf life once defrosted can be difficult. These are all packed in small, easy to use 1kg pouches to help eliminate wastage issues.
Q. Should any leftover pasta and sauce be thrown away at the end of service?
A. Cooked pasta and sauces held in the Pasta Pronto unit should be discarded each day. Pasta cooked and kept in a refrigerator can be kept for up to 3 days. Open sauces that have been kept in the refrigerator should be used with 72 hours.
Q. How many portions does 1kg of sauce serve?
A. There are approximately 10 portions of 100g each in each 1kg pouch. Ladles supplied with the equipment dispense approximately 100g of sauce.
Q. Are any of the sauces Halal certified?
A. All vegetarian and chicken sauces are certified as Halal.
Q. Is it possible to refresh noodles using the same equipment?
A. Yes, noodles can be refreshed in the same way as the pasta.
