We hope that joining Nectar Business and collecting points with Brakes is simple, however here are the answers to some frequently asked questions that we hope will help you.

I posted my form to Nectar a while ago but I still haven’t received my card.

You should receive your card within 28 days of you returning your registration form. If you have not received a Nectar Business Welcome Pack containing your card after 28 days, please contact the Nectar Helpline on 0844 8110811.

I posted my Brakes Link Form a while ago, but I know I’m not receiving Nectar points from Brakes.

Brakes send a letter to every new customer linked to Nectar Business within a month of receiving a Brakes Link Form. If you have not received this, please contact Brakes Customer Service on 0845 606 9090 so they can check the necessary records.

How can I find out my Nectar points balance?

If you have registered to use your Nectar Business card online, simply log in to your account and your balance will appear in the top-right of the page.
If you have not registered for an online account, you should receive a statement from Nectar Business every quarter. If you are not receiving this, please contact the Nectar Helpline on 0844 8110811.

How many points do I collect with Brakes?

You collect 2 points per £1 (excl. VAT) on all purchases of Brakes frozen, chilled and grocery products including catering supplies and equipment.

How often will I receive my Nectar points from Brakes?

Brakes transfer points to Nectar on the first Thursday of every month.  These points are based upon the purchases you made in the previous month – for example a transfer on the 1st February would contain points for your sales throughout January.

I want to spend my points and get a Brakes voucher to get money off future orders. Can I do that?

Yes you can! You can spend your points online at nectar-business.com – choose the ‘Spend Points’ page, then click the Brakes logo. Alternatively, you can call 0844 8110811 and talk to Nectar about how to spend your points. When you receive your vouchers, remember you can use them as payment for any Brakes invoice, including Brakes Catering Equipment.

My colleague used to deal with Nectar points, but they have now left the business. How do I update the details so that I can now control the points?

You need to confirm the changes in writing, on business letterhead, to Nectar Business and to Brakes. Don’t forget to include your Nectar Business card number!
