Blacksticks Blue
With a distinctive amber hue, this medium-strength pasteurised cow’s milk blue is creamy yet tangy. Produced by Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses in Preston, the curds are hand cut, stirred and poured into moulds before resting. Each cheese is then pierced, turned and aged for eight weeks, then carefully hand wrapped. Ideally served as a part of a cheeseboard with warm bread and chutney, together with a red Burgundy or a Champagne.
