Barosi Egg Pappardelle
Authentic Tuscan fresh egg pappardelle, made with a durum wheat semolina, soft wheat flour and egg dough that pairs well with robust sauces. Ready in 3-4 minutes. Derived from the Tuscan verb "pappare," meaning "to gobble up," are a type of egg pasta similar to tagliatelle but with a significantly wider width. Crafted through the lamination of a dough made from durum wheat semolina, soft wheat flour, eggs, and water, then subjected to pasteurization and cut and packed in a protective atmosphere. Cooking and Serving Tips: In Tuscan tradition, pappardelle are paired with hearty and robust sauces, such as game meat or mushroom based sauces. However, they are particularly renowned for their combination with hare meat sauce and grated cheese or tick tomato scampi sauce.
