Gingerbread & Mincemeat Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredients
- A 461438 Roberts White Extra Thick Sliced Bread (600g)
- C 71514 Sysco Classic Soft Spread (50g)
- A 15605 Sysco Classic Mincemeat (200g)
- A 16392 Brakes 18 British Free Range Fresh Medium Eggs (x5)
- C 70219 Wholesome Farms Fresh British Whole Milk (600ml)
- A 350098 Tate & Lyle Caster Sugar (100g)
- A 5020933 McVities Tasties Ginger Nuts (100g)
Recipe
Preparation:
- Butter the sliced bread with the spread.
- Crack and whisk eggs with the milk and caster sugar.
- Crush the ginger nut biscuits.
Method:
- Layer the buttered bread with the mincemeat in an ovenproof dish.
- Top with the crushed ginger nuts.
- Add the milk, egg and sugar mixture and press down, ensuring the custard mix is evenly spread.
- Allow to soak for at least 30 minutes while your oven is preheating.
- Place the dish into an oven at 160 degrees and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown and springy.
