- Saves time versus paying at the point of order or delivery

How it works
- Store your card details online and once you’ve placed an order, on the morning of your delivery, we’ll automatically debit your card for the value of your delivery
- Any refunds for invoice adjustments at the point of delivery will be automatically applied to your card within 3 working days
- To enter your card details log onto your ‘My Brakes’ account, click the ‘Add Card’ button on the banner at the top of the page and then then select the account(s) you wish to log a card against

How does stored payment work?
Once your card is registered. When you place an order, we will automatically debit your card for the value of the order, on the morning of that delivery.
How do I add a payment card to my Brakes account?
When you log into your account on brake.co.uk you will see a banner across the top of the page. Follow the on-screen instructions to add and store a credit or debit payment card to your account.
How do I know that my card details are secure?
Customer card details are not stored by Brakes, but by an PCI DSS compliant service provider. See https://www.interactivets.com/security for full details
What cards do you accept?
All major forms of Debit and Credit Cards, including Mastercard and Visa. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept American Express
What if there are any changes to my payment amount after I have placed my order?
If there are any adjustments to your invoice at the point of delivery, a refund will automatically be applied to your card within 3 working days.
Will my confirmation show the total amount I am to be charged with VAT?
Any item that is subject to VAT will be highlighted with a (*). The amount shown will be without VAT however we will let you know how much will be taken from your card.
I have a stored payment card that is about to expire, what do I need to do?
When your card is due to expire, we will display a banner to notify you allowing you to update new details with plenty of notice.
How can I remove a stored card?
To remove a payment card please call Account Creation on 0344 8003388 who will be happy to help you.
Can I have more than one payment card stored?
No, only one payment card can be added to each account.
What happens if I make a payment on a card with insufficient funds or my card is otherwise rejected?
If your payment can not be taken for any reason a member of the Brakes finance team will contact you to make alternative arrangements for the payment of your order. Alternatively, you can contact our Credit Control Team on 0344 8717996 to make an alternative payment.
I want to register a payment card, but it is not giving me the option

How can I get a credit account as opposed to storing a payment card?
