Foodie Expo 2026 brings together customers, colleagues and suppliers in Paisley
More than 350 customers and colleagues attended Brakes Scotland’s Foodie Expo at Paisley Town Hall ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend, making it the most successful Scottish event to date.
The exhibition featured 68 stands from Brakes and supplier partners, showcasing the latest product innovations, seasonal trends, Christmas 2026 ranges, menu inspiration and practical solutions to help customers address cost and labour challenges. Throughout the day, Brakes chefs and category specialists brought products to life through demonstrations and expert advice.
Paul Nieduszynski, CEO of Sysco GB, commented: "It is fantastic to see the marriage of customers, colleagues and suppliers, who came to witness all that great innovation that we’ve got to offer to the market in Scotland."
With strong attendance and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day, suppliers praised the quality of customer conversations, while visitors left with new ideas and inspiration to support their businesses.
Dedicated Sysco stands showcased specialist propositions for the Care, Hospitality and Education sectors, alongside support from Country Choice, Brakes Catering Equipment and the non-food and cleaning supplies teams. Customers also had the opportunity to learn more about the mybrakes rewards platform and monthly promotional offers.
The event also provided valuable development opportunities for colleagues, who took part in training sessions and heard from Brakes’ Colleague Resource Groups, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and professional development.
Brakes Scotland would like to thank all colleagues, suppliers and customers who contributed to the success of the event. Food surplus from the day was collected by Launch Foods, ensuring products were redistributed within the local community.
