Brakes Scotland celebrates Scottish Food & Drink September with ‘Every Bite Tells a Story’

24 August 2026

Brakes Scotland is celebrating Scottish Food & Drink September, supporting Scotland Food & Drink’s Every Bite Tells a Story campaign and shining a spotlight on the people, products and producers behind Scotland’s food and drink.

Throughout September, the campaign will celebrate the people working behind the scenes – those who grow, raise, make and produce the food that ultimately reaches customers’ tables.

With more than 500 Scottish lines available through Brakes Scotland, the local range spans fresh meat and seasonal produce to drinks, snacks and sweet treats, showcasing the breadth of Scotland’s food and drink industry.

As part of the campaign, Brakes Scotland has launched a dedicated Scottish Food & Drink September brochure, featuring products on promotion from a selection of trusted Scottish suppliers. Rather than focusing solely on the products themselves, this year’s brochure introduces some of the people behind them through supplier portraits and stories, celebrating their passion for Scottish provenance and the businesses they represent.

The brochure also brings the products to life through recipe inspiration developed by Brakes Scotland Development Chef Michael Croy, including the following – Lorne Salad, Lorne & Crispy Egg Muffin, Grazing Nachos and Passion Fruit & Mango Dirty Soda.

Customers can access the recipes directly through the digital brochure, making it easy to explore different ways to use products featured throughout the campaign.

The activity forms part of Brakes Scotland’s continued commitment to championing Scottish suppliers and helping customers discover the quality, variety and provenance available across its Scottish range.

Explore the Scottish Food & Drink September brochure and discover the stories behind the products.
