Calories on menu legislation

Food businesses with over 250 employees in England only are now required to show the calories for each dish or portion on menus (printed and online) and displays of food. Businesses with fewer employees will be encouraged to adopt these measures, which may become mandatory for all food outlets, and the whole of the UK, at a future date. For full details of businesses in scope, those out of scope and any exemptions, please download our support guide.
