The Sweet Taste of Success for Brakes at BFFF Awards

Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice wholesaler, took home a total of six medals at the BFFF Awards last week.

Leading the way was a Gold Medal in the Dessert category for its Sysco Premium 9” Burnt Basque, with the company also winning second Gold Medal for its Beef Bourguignon in the Specialist and Multi Portion Entrée.

As part of a haul of six medals, Sysco Classic Seafood Sauce, Sysco Classic Large Mascarpone Filled Chocolate Topped Choux Bun, Sysco Premium Fishless Fishcake and Sysco Classic Steakhouse Chips all picked up Bronze Medals in their respective categories.

Paul Nieduszynski, CEO of Sysco GB, said: “We’ve seen another night where we’ve comfortably outperformed our rivals, showing that our continued investment in new product development is being recognised by the industry and supporting our customers’ food innovation.
