McCain Foods
To mark International Women’s Day, McCain Foods is hosting a virtual keynote conversation, “Lessons from Zan Times with Zahra Nader.” Zahra Nader, editor-in-chief and founder of Zan Times, will share insights from leading a women-led newsroom in exile documenting human-rights realities in Afghanistan.
Colleagues can also join an in-person watch-along at the Scarborough Employee Experience Centre, bringing office and plant teams together to reflect on the discussion. Additionally, UKI & EMENA Regional President Jillian Moffatt will share a personal International Women’s Day message on Viva Engage, recognising the contributions of women across the business and reinforcing McCain’s commitment to inclusion.
Europastry
Europastry is recognising International Women’s Day by honouring and celebrating women across the business. To mark the occasion, purple and white dots — aligned with the symbolic colours of the day — were gifted alongside an inspiring message:
“Equality is not just for one day. So that tomorrow, and every day after, we never forget the importance of continuing to work towards a truly equal society.”
Boundless
To mark International Women’s Day, Cathy Moseley, Founder of Boundless, shares the inspiration behind her female-founded business.
“I snack daily — like 70% of the UK — but nothing on shelves supported gut health. It was all filler, no purpose. So I created Boundless: the first gut health snack brand.
Made with activated ingredients and crafted in the UK, we’ve now helped over 3 million people snack better and feel better.
When your gut’s happy, so are you. It’s good mood food.”
Fix8 & Fibe
To mark International Women’s Day, the founder of Fix8 shares the journey behind building a female-founded drinks brand rooted in purpose and passion.
A Female-Founded Mission
“As a female-founded business built from a spark of curiosity, a lot of determination and a deep belief in the power of gut health, we know we’re just getting started.
We’re incredibly excited that our Fix8 Water Kefirs will be launching with Brakes this spring — a natural extension of the fermentation obsession that started it all.”
Vandemoortele
To mark International Women’s Day, Vandemoortele reaffirms its commitment to gender equality and fair representation across the business.
Equal representation of women in recruitment is a priority, ensuring women have the same opportunities for career growth as men, alongside equal pay for equal work. Gender pay is assessed at least once a year, with actions taken at both Group and local levels to address any disparities. An annual budget supports efforts to eliminate the remaining gender pay gap at management level, and clear salary policies have been introduced across countries to ensure fair and transparent remuneration for all employees.
Pip Organic
To celebrate International Women’s Day, Pip Organic is shining a spotlight on the women who power the brand.
Pip Organic is proudly an 86% female-powered business, led at its core by husband-and-wife duo Patrick and Karen. As an active member of several inspiring communities that champion women in business, Karen brings her commitment to empowerment into everything the company does.
This International Women’s Day, the team is celebrating by recognising the incredible women across the wider Team Pip family who make the brand what it is today - coming together, in true Pip Organic style, for an Apple Cherry Fizz and a cheerful “Pip Pip hooray!”
