The story of Biscoff started in 1932 in a local bakery in Lembeke, a small Belgian town. The unique recipe was honed to perfection with carefully selected natural ingredients by Jan Boone Sr., naming his biscuits ‘Lotus,’ after the flower that symbolises purity. Today, Lotus Bakeries is still family-owned and based in its home town. And from there, the delicious Biscoff biscuit continues to conquer the world with over six billion biscuits a year coming out of our ovens, which are savoured across six continents.

The secret? It all comes down to three simple things: the unique flavour, the crunchy bite, and the iconic shape. On top of that, it’s a great match with tea, coffee, or any hot drink of choice. Plus, our biscuit is above all an irresistible treat on its own and is the pride of everyone at Lotus Bakeries - it inspires us to apply the same lofty standards of craftsmanship as when they were first made nearly 100 years ago. With natural ingredients, our vegan biscuits are halal, kosher and made with sustainable RSPO certified ingredients and with a nut free recipe. Biscoff biscuits also contain no added colours, flavours, or preservatives, so who can possibly resist?
