Vegetarian
There are more than 1.2 million vegetarians in Britain, and with half of all British adults reducing their meat intake and a growth in consumers choosing to be ‘part-time’ vegetarians*, there's no better time to develop exciting vegetarian options on your menu.
There are several types of vegetarian diet, but the most common is referred to as 'lacto-ovo-vegetarian'. Someone who follows a lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet still consumes eggs and dairy products - but not beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind.
