2021 Winter Food Festival is now live
Brakes Virtual Winter Food Festival offers operators across foodservice a wealth of practical ideas and insights as they navigate the challenges of the festive season, look to make the most of Veganuary opportunities, and plan for new legislation coming in to force next year.
With 28 stands packed with guidance, the latest trends and award-winning new food from Brakes and some of the best-known suppliers, the event runs until 14th January 2022. Visitors can come back and visit as many times as they need to and there’s a chance to win £500 of Brakes vouchers by taking part in the event prize draw.
At the heart of the Festival is a series of webinars covering topics such as Veganuary, mental health and staff wellbeing, and upcoming calorie labelling on menus legislation changes. The webinars kick off with a session on the #FairKitchens movement, which is striving to make the industry a fairer, more inclusive, and happier place to work.
As always, great food is on the menu. Alongside the supplier stands, which include Nestlé, Unilever, Valeo Snackfoods and Heinz, there are six Brakes stands dedicated to hospitality, food to go, care and hospitals, new food, education, and winter menus. All the stands offer products and solutions designed to help chefs maximise quality and flavour whilst helping them to reduce costs and labour, complemented by insights into the latest food trends, downloadable resources, and on-demand video inspiration.
Leon French, Brakes’ Customer Marketing Director said: “At Brakes we’re passionate about the food we sell and the service we provide our customers. We pride ourselves on offering quality products and category-leading expertise that helps make running kitchens that little bit easier.
“Our Winter Food Festival brings together leading foodservice organisations such as Veganuary, #FairKitchens, Unilever and Nutritics, opening up access to guidance, support, and insights, as well as award-winning new food. We’ve introduced some exciting new features which make it even easier to take part in the webinars, visit the virtual stands and find the information food service operators need to plan for the key occasions over the coming weeks and months.”
