Brakes is number one choice at chef’s choice awards

Last night Brakes recorded its best-ever performance at the Chef’s Choice Awards, receiving a record 16 accolades, including 10 category wins and six highly commended, as well as the coveted title of “Overall winner – Chefs’ Choice Product of the Year.”

Judged and voted for by hundreds of chefs from several sectors the awards reward and recognise the hard work and innovation of suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers and Brakes once again demonstrated that it leads the field.

Entries were assessed on a range of criteria including great taste, appearance, aroma, flavour, texture, value for money, creativity and innovation.

The title of “Overall winner – Chefs’ Choice Product of the Year” went to La Boulangerie Chocolate Tart which judges described as “a premium product with a luxurious feel that really delivered”, whilst the category award winning products were:
