Support The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation’s Free-From Fortnight

Free-From Fortnight is a dedicated event that shines a spotlight on allergen-free foods and those who are living with food allergies every day. Celebrated between 1st to 14th October, the fortnight is a celebration of inclusivity and accommodation and is a time to recognise and cater to diverse dietary needs, making sure that no one is left out when it comes to enjoying delicious food. Whether you’re an education, care, or hospitality provider, you can play a pivotal role in promoting Free-From Fortnight and fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding.

We’ll take a look at how your business can actively support and celebrate Free-From Fortnight:

Special Menus: Introduce special menus that accommodate various dietary needs to not only ensure that everyone can enjoy a satisfying meal but also educates about different dietary requirements.

  • Go meat-free on Mondays – a popular choice on menus and a great way to promote a wider range of dishes for customers to try. Add alternatives such as Quorn meatballs or a vegan cottage pie to your menu.

Educate: Whether you can host a workshop or simply add a poster to your staff area, knowledge and understanding of dietary restrictions and the top 14 allergens can greatly enhance the dining experience for individuals with special requirements. For more information, visit our allergens page.

Fundraise: You can also support Natasha’s Foundation by organising fundraisers, food drives, or culinary competitions to raise awareness and support Natasha’s Foundation. Click here to find out more information.
