North Yorkshire, UK

The Ibbotson family have been involved in farming for generations. Recently some of the finest growers in the country joined as investors, giving the business increased capacity and access to a wide range of varieties, many of which are grown exclusively for Ibbotsons Produce.

Their continual investment includes solar panels across their main site and storage areas and a carbon neutral certified pack house. Currently capable of handling 12,000 packs per hour, their automated tracking and traceability systems ensure that they can always be sure of the provenance of their potatoes.

Yorkshire, UK

MH Poskitt is a family owned farming business specialising in the growing of root vegetables. They, wash, pack and distribute all their products from one site, enabling them to control all aspects of production and quality control and have implemented wind energy to generate their own electricity, part of their commitment to producing crops with a minimal carbon footprint.

Their areas of production include Devon, Norfolk, Suffolk, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire and Scotland. This geographical spread and integration with joint venture growers enables the farm to provide all year supply for the pack house, enabling their business to supply year round UK produce.

West Lancashire, UK

Bryans Salads are growers and packers of lettuce on the rural peat lands of the fertile West Lancashire plain. Most of their crops are grown within a one mile radius of their processing site, everything is cut and stacked the old fashioned way, by hand.

They grow a large proportion of the salad and vegetables in Tarleton, Preston, Lancashire and have over 40 full time staff. Their vast production facility is equipped with state of the art washing, mixing and bagging machinery and is housed in a temperature controlled environment. Their salad and vegetables are grown all year round, both out in the fields and in large temperature controlled greenhouses, with pesticide and fertilizer use kept to a minimum.
