COOKING INSTRUCTIONSCooking SauceHob• Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a hot frying pan• Add diced chicken / protein of choice / sliced vegetables and stir fry for 2-3 minutes• Add Katsu sauce, stir and simmer for 10 minutes with lid on (or until protein is thoroughly cooked)Pour Over SauceHob• Cook meat / fish of choice as per cooking instruction• Heat the Katsu sauce in a saucepan over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes• Pour over the cooked meat / fish and serve.For Chicken Katsu: • Coat flattened chicken breast in flour, then into beaten egg, then coat in panko breadcrumbs• Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a hot frying pan and cook chicken until golden brown. Remove and place on absorbent paper• Heat the katsu sauce in a saucepan over a medium heat fro 2-3 minutes• Pour over the cooked chicken and serve.MarinadeOven• Score meat, poultry or fish and cover with marinade• Cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. For a more intense flavour leave for 2-3 hours or preferably overnight.• Cook meat, poultry or fish as per cooking instructions, basting throughout.These are guidelines only.
