Getting to know Mark Sargeant

Mark was born and raised in Kent and his passion for food is unquestionable. After cutting his teeth in the kitchens of the County’s finest restaurants he was crowned Young Chef of the Year – an accolade which gained him an introduction to Gordon Ramsay. After establishing his place in Ramsay’s inner circle Mark was rewarded with the Head Chef’s position at the newly acquired Gordon Ramsay at Claridges earning the hotel a Michelin star within his first two years.

Bringing food to life, 'Sarge' is the master of food magic and we love having him around. His passion and enthusiasm for food is matched by his integrity – he’ll never put his name to anything he’s not fully tested and tasted.

So, as you can imagine, we invite him here quite a bit to sample and cook in our dev kitchens. It’s great to get his thoughts and opinions on the food he’s tried, but we’d be silly not to take the opportunity to capture the man himself in action......... so we did!
